2012 Memorable Happy Timeline

I think 2012 has been a very good year to me somewhat. Probably making it up to me for the year before haha. Here’s a timeline of sorts to remind myself that despite all the shitty things that happened last year, it’s still a pretty good year. Ignoring all the shitty parts.

I’ve gotten the habit of writing out memorable events on my planner, with the occasional whining+agony note on certain dates (i.e if I think I screwed up on my tests lol). It’s very exciting to see it written out haha.

And yeah, I know. Pretty late to be writing this out when it’s already mid May LOL.

January 5-10: Japan trip with Jasmine. Despite shitty hotel accommodations and tensions rising initially, we’ve gotten a lot more brave in exploring. And I do believe this trip helped a lot in making our future trips more enjoyable, after learning a lot of lessons and how to work together (reading maps – “When I read, you don’t help. When it’s your turn, I shut up.”, tolerating my kanchiong spider-ness etc.)

This was how much Jasmine and I wrote down to blog about. I even had a floor layout drawn lol.

April 28: L’Arc~en~Ciel concert. There was a huge issue with the ticketing thing, but ultimately I guess we should have done it ourselves. But whatever! Our seats were close enough to be able to see most of Hyde’s sexy expressions!!!! And seriously what were the chances of Laruku coming to Singapore. TO SINGAPORE. AND IT HAD IBARA NO NAMIDA OF ALL SONGS. Most of the songs in the list were all time favourites and pretty recent, so I’m not that surprised. BUT IBARA NO NAMIDA. AND WE HAD SOOOO MUCH FUNNNNNNNNNNN.

Our view. Worth every cent.

May 8: Ice skating with uni friends aka SPRATANS. I have never celebrated my birthday with any of my classmates before, excluding that one time where I had a McDonalds’ birthday party when I was in lower primary.. 1? 2? I think 1. I’m still very insecure at times, but university is the only time I sort of look forward to school since I actually have people I want to meet. While this technically does not constitute as an actual “let’s celebrate Teresa’s birthday!” meet, it’s close enough! At least we all wanted to ice skate together. That stands for something right? LOL. So this sort of means quite a lot to me. I also later got a gift from them all which.. is actually super big deal to me because I don’t get gifts often. While I’m not sure how I conveyed my happiness to them, I probably look very forced because I was super shocked I got anything from them.

May 14-15: Celebrated my birthday by having a getaway in M Studio Hotel. That’s how bad things were with my mum. I really needed to get away from her. And while I really didn’t do anything at all except sleep and nua at random places to eat, I feel a lot more rejuvenated. The room itself was pretty cool! Watch me climb the stairs up and down, and walk all over the table connected to the stairs LOL. /cheap thrill

Serious cheap thrill going on here.

May 20: Ice skating with secondary classmates, Maria and Yanxian. Meets with them are so rare, I feel like I need to put this down on my planner LOL. I also think it’s a personal accomplishment I managed to get Maria to try out ice skating, especially when she’s been so sure that she will get her fingers lobbed off the moment she put those skates on.

June 23: Officially moved in to new home And still loving my home lots. I have a lot less space at my disposal, so junk piles up really fast. And unlike my previous home, any piece of junk in this place can prevent me from opening a whole bunch of drawers or something LOL so irritating. All I can do is er, pack. Haha. I still hate it that the shelf measurements were all wrong, but it will work out.

June 27: Received this for our frequent patronage. HEHE.

The last time I've checked, we're clearly not ION staff.

June 30: Met Wao Yoka in the flesh. And totally molested her high fived and shook her hand. No really. This was way unexpected. And rightfully, I wouldn’t have been able to meet her since this was a fanclub only thing. But TADAH I DID IT SOMEHOW. And I even got a shiny lightstick! And while the wait was terrible, ohmytian I got go speak with her and she approached to shake my hand WHAAAAATTTT!? My favourite top star shook my hand upon knowing I couldn’t attend the next day’s fan meet WOW WAO WOW. WHY HAVE I NOT WRITTEN THIS ENTRY OUT ALREADY LOL.

July 3-9: Hong Kong trip with Jasmine. Attended Dollism for both days. Okay we didn’t get stuff we really wanted, but I’m so proud of us being able to navigate around like a pro. No fights at all, smooth traveling and all, yeeeey. I also tried dim sum 😀 Achievement unlocked okay!

December 19: Samantha Thavasa Anniversary Fashion Show. Haha not like it was daaaamn epic of an event, but it’s actually my first time in a club XD And I got to meet my friends too!

December 20: Christmas dinner with Sparklies. People do potluck and cook up a storm for their Christmas dinner meets, we order Pizza and Gongcha HAHAHA. A miracle we actually got all the local Sparklies down on one day!!!! Words cannot describe how memorable this day is.

We're super tired, but we made it happen <3 We’re super tired, but we made it happen <3[/caption] Actually, since 2012, I've gotten a lot more active in meeting the Sparklies in general! Whether it be karaoke meets, or random dinner meets 🙂 Not to mention more doll meets, with big kids appearing!
