(Almost completed) Pokeball nailart and more Wreck This Journal

Just a while ago, I was toying with the idea of painting pokeballs on my nails. I did it, but unfortunately, the whole thing got messed up. I think it’s the white nail polish. The red nail polish was from OPI, while the white was from FUSO. And it gave me a loooot of problems. Couleur Inc’s yellow nail polish also gave me quite a bit of problem, though I was wondering if it was because of me instead since I had no problems with their gold.

But here, proof that I was pretty much done before all the weird shit happened. I have yet to clean the sides before taking the picture.

I asked Jasmine to help me wreck one of my Wreck This Journal page (since that’s what it instructs). She’s not exactly the type that loves to spoil books or destroy anything, so I imagined it must have been a very foreign and unusual experience for her. But it was nice of her to be willing to help me destroy the page to her very best LOL.

It was quite hilarious too; she dripped a few droplets of coke on it and I was pretty sure she thought she was done with her work.

Ask a friend to do something destructive to this page (do not look)

As a request, I told her to help me include the page number there.

Previously, no thanks to a particular paper chain entry, it got a bit annoying to keep minding the paper chain (I hate it if any sort of chain breaks), and it was hard to close the book to hold the chain inside (Jasmine helped me squash the chain a lot, but it was still a bother), so I figured it’s time to figure out a way to seal the book.

With a paper fastener, penknife, hole punch, and a hair tie, I came up with a simple solution.

LOL I thought it was a very funny thing to witness XD Especially when you had that super guilty face.

Both yellow and white were quite dry coming from the bottle =x The yellow looked nice after paint 2-3 coats, but it took ages to dry (compared to 2-3 coats from other nail polishes). As for the white… it’s gunky ): So painting was a chore already. And even when everything else was dry, no matter how careful I was even with 2 coats of white underneath it, it still managed to er, “grab” the other colours and then whoosh, I get grey/pink nails.
